met with the Imperial Divan and that one of the purposes of The Cabiri

was therefore offered to be included in all Chapter By-Laws as well
as the International organization. Cabiri Chapters are forbidden to endorse candidates for local Shrine Associations or Imperial Shrine Offices, and the use of Cabiri stationery must not be used by Cabiri officers or members for political campaigns. "An official ruling regarding the status of The Cabiri Organization so far as the Imperial Council is concerned is that The Cabiri International Past Potentates Association is an approved Shrine organization. This International Organization and its chapters are subject to the jurisdiction and supervision of the Imperial Council alone and except as to disciplinary action over individual Nobles for violation of Shrine laws, neither the Temple nor the Temple Potentate has any present right of supervision or control of said International Organization and/or its duly established chapters." top |
